Rescan Roundup – Weeks of August 27 & September 3

More than half of all TV stations in the United States will move frequencies between 2018 and 2020. If you use an antenna to access free, over-the-air television, head to TV Answers to find out when stations in your area are moving, help spread the word, and sign up for text and e-mail alerts.

We know you’re prepping for Labor Day weekend, but before you fire up the grill, strap into those water skis or cannonball into the pool, take notice of a few stations moving frequencies over the next week.

Stations on the move include:

August 31

  • WISE (Ft. Wayne, Indiana)
  • WLOX (Biloxi, Mississippi)

September 1

  • WFWA (Ft. Wayne, Indiana)
  • WCHS (Charleston – Huntington, West Virginia)
  • KOZJ (Joplin – Pittsburg, Missouri)

September 4

  • KGEB (Tulsa, Oklahoma)
  • KMYT (Tulsa, Oklahoma)
  • KXNW (Ft. Smith – Fayetteville – Springdale – Rogers, Arkansas)

September 7

  • WHLA (Lacrosse – Eau Claire, Wisconsin)
  • WQOW (Lacrosse – Eau Claire, Wisconsin)

  1. What happened to the wise channels? We lost cw and the local radar when we rescanned in schedule. I live in zip code area 46750

    1. Greetings Misty! We recommend contacting WISE for the most up-to-date information on your location.

    1. Hello Shari! If you missed your rescan day, fear not: you may rescan at any time following the rescan day.
